With 40.2M stadium seats to fill globally in the midst of a shift in fan demographics and the advance of home viewing, venue teams are looking for new ways to engage existing fans, excite new ones and grow their revenues.

I created FanVox: a real-time, crowd-powered fan engagement engine. It’s a next generation platform that creates a profile of anonymised crowd and personal data to supercharge fan engagement with real-time digital media.

Data such as gender, age, income distribution, home and work location, hobbies and trusted news sources along with real-time experiential inputs such as acoustic and IR camera data, and motion are matched with triggers to drive games, polls and 'jumbo-tron' media payoffs. Fanfox can even trigger personalised smart contextual messaging based on nearly any attribute or call to action and target micro-location services.

This fall we are running FanVox at 64 gigs across seven venues—including the largest indoor music venue in the UK.
